Millicent Rogers

Collector who built Taos's finest archive of Native and Hispanic art.

1902 – 1953

Rogers came to Taos in 1947, already ill, having spent two decades collecting jewelry, textiles, and santos across the Southwest. In six years she assembled what became the core of the museum that carries her name.
